Minimalist kitchen decor

The kitchen is the heart of this Edinburgh home where a traditional AGA contrasts with the minimal hardwood and stainless steel furniture which surrounds it. To acheive the clean, contemporary lines desired, storage has been kept to the base units only. This leaves the walls uncluttered, except for a run of illuminated plate–glass shelves mounted above the AGA.

Base units are in book–matched Santos Rosewood veneer and Nero Assoluto granite worktops are used throughout.
